Facebook Allowed Cryptocurrency Advertising Again
Facebook stops the ban on advertising digital currencies and allows the promotion of cryptocurrency services and exchanges.
The social network banned cryptocurrency advertising in January 2018. Company motivates it by protecting its users from financial products and services often associated with fraud.
Now advertisers approved by Facebook through the application process can advertise their cryptocurrency products. Perhaps they will have to provide licenses and other documents that confirm the legitimacy of their business. The ban continued to advertise ads promoting ICO and binary options.
Recall that the sharp growth of the cryptocurrency market in the past year attracted the attention of both the public and scammers who tried to make profit on the inflow of new investors. In this regard, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Snapchat, as well as a number of other platforms decided to ban advertising of crypto and ICO.
