Bitmain Introduced A High-Performance Chip For ASIC-Miners
Today, the three-day World Summit on Cryptocurrency Mining started in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Representatives of 50 largest blockchain-companies from all over the world will take part in it.
The main speakers of the summit included the Bitmain mining company Jihan Wu, the director of the BitKan p2p trading platform Yu Fang, the director of the Genesis Mining Clouds Mining Service Marco Streng, the Bitcoin.com portal director Roger Ver and the head of the Antpool mining pool Lingchao Xu.
Today manufacturer of mining hardware, Bitmain, presented a high-performance chip BM1391 based on a 7nm technology.
As the company CEO, Jihan Wu, said, the chips will be sold in the near future. According to him, BM1391 implements in the next generation of models of ASIC-miners line Antminer.
It is known that the energy efficiency of the chip is 42 J/TH.
